The furniture, decor and lighting is wonderfully warm and you might forget for a moment that you are in Colchester. Yellow sofas and yellow ottomans, beautiful opium tables, candlelight and terribly friendly service making the Silk Road the sort of secret you almost want to keep for yourself. Look around the lounge and you realise you're in something special.

The design and decor turn your head. At Silk Road, East meet West. The beautiful rough iron lamps are being imported from Casablanca. The sofas, ottomans and opium tables are custom made from Bali - Indonesia. The Silk Road goes that extra mile music-wise and the perfect sound is reflecting the overall atmosphere. Our funky bands perform every Wednesday from 9pm.
